The Bryan ISD Education Foundation made history on October 30, 2025, by awarding a record-breaking $150,000 in teacher grants during its annual Grant Patrol event. The celebration kicked off at Jones Elementary School with a high-energy pep rally featuring drumlines, cheerleaders, and student ambassadors.
Throughout the day, three enthusiastic teams visited every Bryan ISD campus to surprise 57 teachers with grant awards. These funds will support a wide range of innovative classroom projects designed to boost student engagement and learning—from individual classrooms to entire schools.
Grant-funded projects include patient monitors and hospital beds for the health science program, a book vending machine to promote literacy, and a hydroponic growing tower for Career and Technology Education.
This impactful initiative is powered by generous community support and Foundation fundraising efforts, including proceeds from the Hometown Reunion held in August. Amazon Prime Air proudly served as the presenting sponsor of the Grant Patrol Pep Rally.
Together, the Bryan ISD community continues to invest in the future of education—one classroom at a time.
