On August 16, 2025, the Legends Event Center in Bryan came alive with music, celebration, and community spirit as Bryan ISD hosted its 3rd Annual Hometown Reunion. Organized by the Bryan ISD Education Foundation, the event welcomed nearly 900 attendees — a vibrant mix of alumni, educators, families, and community supporters — for an unforgettable night of fundraising, entertainment, and reconnection.
The evening featured standout performances from Mason Creager, The Pictures Band, and headliner Josh Abbott Band, creating a festive backdrop for an event rooted in purpose. Beyond the music and dancing, the Hometown Reunion served as a heartfelt gathering for Brazos Valley area businesses, district staff, and supporters to reconnect and celebrate their shared ties to Bryan ISD.
Executive Director of the Education Foundation, Sarah Braden, emphasized the event’s growing impact: “It really is an opportunity to gather the community ... it is a reunion and an opportunity for the community to come together."
Attendees enjoyed dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions — all contributing to a larger mission: elevating student achievement and the wonderful educators in BryanISD. The evening raised an impressive $325,000, with a remarkable $77,000 raised in just 10 minutes during the Call to Action segment.
Proceeds will fund teacher grants, scholarships, alternative certification programs, the PAWS Program, and other district initiatives aimed at elevating student and staff success.
This year’s event was made possible thanks to the incredible support of the Brazos Valley community and generous sponsors, including Amarillo Bank, E3 Entegral Solutions, and PBK Architects.
The 2025 Hometown Reunion was more than a party — it was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together in support of education.
